late post: Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a wonderful day! Ricardo got up with the kids and went and got me flowers, chocolate and Starbucks. 

 

May long weekend #2

While Evan was away, Lily got us all to herself which I think she enjoyed! 

We also bought a new car! Out with the old, 

In with the new!

Over the weekend Evan went on his first away trip with Raquel and Ben. They went to his cabin and he had so much fun! He was there from Friday to Monday and I think he was a little sad to have to come home! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 
 
 
 
 

 

 

 

When you fall in a giant puddle... 

 

 

Today I am 23 weeks pregnant! Here's a little comparison. On the left I am 22 weeks pregnant with Lily and on the right I am 23 weeks pregnant with this baby girl. 

 

Evan is star of the week in his class this week and he couldn't be more excited. He has been waiting since September to do this and was bouncing off the walls when he found out. 

His job was to make a poster with pictures, put things in a guessing jar, bring show and tell and bring his favourite book. 

This is the poster he made. At first we weren't even on the poster! Ben and Raquel made the cut first! He found a picture of us eventually and some other pictures. He was so proud of his poster as he did everything himself (with help with spelling) 

Playing outside with chalk. We have been doing this a lot lately. Ricardo suggested to draw around Evan with chalk. Evan went to lay down and Lily went to lay her head on his chest. She wasn't quite she what he was doing! 

Lily is a true Spanish little girl. She LOVES coffee. She is always trying to drink Ricardo's coffee and take his mug away from him. I'm sure she has gotten some already and will be fully addicted by it by the time she becomes 2.... okay maybe 10
